OUR PASTORS

Rev. Brad Ferguson

Pastor Brad, senior pastor of New Beginnings, was born and raised in New Brunswick, Canada.  He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  He completed a Master of Divinity at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.  After the completion of his degrees, he received additional training in pastoral care, counseling and leadership development.

In Raleigh, North Carolina, Brad served three different churches.  Brad and his family moved to Brunswick County in 2006 where Brad began his service as Pastor at New Beginnings Community Church.

In May of 2021, Brad’s wife, Dianne, went home to be with the Lord after fighting a battle with cancer.   God worked through difficult experience to bring a Grief Share Ministry to New Beginnings.  This ministry continues to serve as an outreach to those experiencing loss of a loved one.

Today, Brad is married to Donna Singer.  They have expanded their family to include three adopted children.  Brad also has three adult children and five grandchildren. 

Rev. Austin Wullschleger

Pastor Austin, our Next Generations Pastor, studied Pastoral Ministries and completed a minor in Biblical Languages at Liberty University. He received his  Master of Divinity Degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. 

Before coming to New Beginnings Community Church in 202, Pastor Austin served as a Youth Pastor in Raleigh.  In his role at NBCC, Austin works with and oversees programs involving our children and youth.  In addition, he supports youth at our local schools through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes program.   He is passionate about helping students learn to read and understand God’s Word for themselves. 

Austin is married to Meagan and they have four children.  They also serve as foster parents for children in our community.
